About the role

This Role is both Workshop & Offshore based.  It requires a hard-working self-motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be part of a busy dynamic team committed to maintaining a large Marine & Offshore client base by providing annual inspections on a range of Fire, Rescue & Safety equipment, performing H2S awareness workscopes and maintenance services on a vast portfolio of Draeger products.

The main details are highlighted below.

1.       Performs Marine & Offshore Inspection and commissioning activities in either Marine or Offshore environment

2.       Performs H2S Safety workscopes in either Marine or Offshore environment

3.       To perform examination, test, service, repair, and recalibration on the full range of products from the Draeger Safety portfolio, The Draeger rental portfolio and potentially third-party products.

4.       The pre-rental preparation of Draeger Rental Equipment whilst ensuring client deadlines are met.

5.       Give support to the rest of the Drager DMO team for exhibitions, demos, workshops, etc.

6.       High housekeeping standards by keeping work areas clean & tidy whilst maintaining company assets & tools in accordance with company guidelines

7.       Provide accurate records of all Service & Rental transactions and work performed.

Size of team/environment

You will be welcomed into a team of approx 9 technicians.

Most of this team share their time between the workshop and Offshore. You will be part of the dedicated onshore workshop team providing consistency, improving our service offering and giving us the potential to grow.

 Role Requirements

Education/Qualifications

The candidate would preferably be qualified in a related technical area such as electronic, electrical, computer or mechanical engineering,

However, depending on experience, possessing the willingness to learn and an authentic attitude in the spirit of Draeger may be sufficient.

Candidate would also hold all relevant offshore certification & medicals.

Related Experience 

Experience in Fire, Rescue & Safety inspection is desirable as is H2S workscopes inc cascade systems.  Inspection and Repair of Breathing Apparatus, Portable Gas Detection and Cylinder Pressure testing is also preferrable.
