About the role
You will be responsible for pro-actively selling Draeger’s Medical Portfolio. Draeger ‘s Focus remains being the specialist in acute care through improving clinical outcomes, managing costs, enhancing patient’s experiences and ensuring staff satisfaction
Responsibilites include:-
- Responsibility for the quantitative and qualitative quarterly and annual objectives set for your region.
- Develop Territory and Account Plans with short-, medium- and long-term goals to deliver the Draeger go to market strategy and maximise business potential.
- Pro-actively ensuing that all customers are supported by the district and wider Draeger teams.
- Maintaining regular contact with the district team to optimise and prioritise workflow to maximise business potential and use of resources.
- Work with the Clinical Application Specialists to maximise the sales of the wider Draeger portfolio.
- Pro-actively identifying and developing new sales opportunities ensuring a strong, consistent and accurate sales funnel is maintained.
- Confidently discuss, position, and demonstrate Draeger Medical products and solutions based on identified customer needs.
- Establishing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to enhance the development of each therapy area to improve clinical outcomes
- To work within accounts to develop key contacts and nurture these relationships within these accounts from a commercial standpoint.
- Documenting and recording all customer interactions within the CRM system.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to organise and facilitate trials, installations and ongoing support for the protection and development of the Draeger portfolio.
- To develop knowledge with the Marketing Managers to leverage product benefits supporting the go to market strategy.
- Be responsible for ensuring their own training for all portfolio is kept up to date and training sessions are attended.
- Shadow colleagues and assist other colleagues for personal development
- Although each Account Manager will be assigned a Territory, travel to support other territories throughout the UK and Ireland and occasionally overseas may be required to support the business needs.
- Maintain an accurate schedule visible to the whole team.
- Timely completion of administration and expenses.

- Close team of 4 people. Wider regional team of 12. This role will be expected to travel where necessary.

Education/Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience.
Related Experience
- Strong sales experience in a relevant market is desirable.
- A skilled presenter with the ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal communication is essential.
- Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills.
- Understanding of needs analysis and solution selling.
- Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Self-starter, entrepreneurial attitude an ability to be agile and think creatively.
Skills, Special Competencies
- Team player.
- Ability to work on timed projects.
- Be able to demonstrate meeting of timelines for reporting and expenses.
- Work within allocated cost budget.
- Personal residence must be within designated region.
