About the role

Primary duties

  • Line management of a team of repair administrators.
  • Prioritisation of daily workload.
  • Process customer repairs orders within SAP.
  •   Generate repair order acknowledgments.
  •   Creation of customer quotations.
  • Chasing of customer approval.
  • Creation of purchase requisitions.
  • Despatch of customer equipment.
  • Creation of customer invoice.
  • Import/Export of customer equipment.
  • Ensure all repair documentation is up to date, accurate and archived correctly.
  • Support the management of customer contracts.
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers.
  • Work closely with management and team to ensure repair orders are completed within agreed targets.
  • Provide support for other Service functions when required.
  • Provide first line technical advice for customers regarding repairs.
  • Attend service/customer review meetings.
  • Regular customer communication is required.

 

 

Additional duties

  • Undertake personal development and training as required.
  • Assist with service projects as directed.

  • National Repair Centres Manager

Size of team/environment

  • Immediate team of 7 (Lead administrator and 6 x Repair Administrators) within the wider Service & Repairs team consisting of 24 people.

 

Your Qualifications

  •  Role Requirements

Education/Qualifications

  • Minimum of three GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language & Mathematics is desirable or proven work experience.

Related Experience 

  • Line management experience essential.
  • Strong administration and coordination skills essential.
  • Experience in a range of customer administration activities essential.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of SAP is desirable.
  • Import/Export experience is desirable

 

Skills, Special Competencies

  •  Ability to prioritise workload to meet customer expectations.
  • Good communications skills (written and verbal).
  • PC skills with good knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Customer focus with a positive attitude towards solving customer problems.
  • Data accuracy.
  • Confident and able to work under own initiative.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
