This is a remote position covering Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

The Business Development Sr. Manager for Defense and Government Programs is Responsible for: 

  • Coordinating multiple projects and reconciling the interdependencies among them.
  • Facilitating communication among a project's cross-functional team.
  • Organizing projects and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
  • Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Creating and managing long-term goals.
  • Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.
  • Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved with minimal deviations.
  • Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions.
  • Analyzing program risks.
  • Working on strategy with the marketing team.
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of multiple projects’ status throughout their life cycle.
  • Hire and manage project managers as the Defense and Government Solutions division grows.

Your Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in business or related field.
  • Defense and/or Federal Government experience is desired.
  • Proven experience in program management.
  • Understanding of project management.
  • Proven management skills.
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.

The Dräger Workplace

Draeger has several sites located across North America as well as field-based sales and service positions. Our North America headquarters is located in Telford, PA just north of Philadelphia. We also have US sites in Andover, MA, and Houston, TX. Our Canada site is located in Mississauga, Ontario.

Our field based Sales and Service workforce is located across the nation, caring for relationships with our customers in the delivery of Draeger’s exceptional portfolio of products and solutions.
