

Intellectual Property Assistant (Part-time)

The IP Assistant:
- Maintains and updates the docketing spreadsheets with case details.
- Participates in docket review meetings with IP team.
- Coordinates with colleagues, employees, and/or departments to ensure completion of assigned tasks.
- Review incoming correspondence and take necessary actions to accurately file for record retention.
- Monitor incoming requests for Invention Disclosures, Freedom to Operate, Copyright, and Trademarks. Take appropriate action to manage docketing of these items, combining and sending files to appropriate parties.
- Generation of quarterly reports for various stakeholders.
- Work with IP team to track upcoming annuity payments.
- Reviews correspondence from employees, IP Team, and external counsel to identify and monitor upcoming deadlines.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
Your Qualifications
Education:
High School diploma required, additional education preferred, equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
Related Experience:
- 2 plus years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant.
- Experience in an environment where confidentiality of sensitive material/information is required.
- IP experience is strongly preferred.
Special Competencies or Certifications:
- Proficient in use of PC's utilizing software packages including word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, and/or database management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Must be able to multitask in an environment where accuracy, timeliness and capacity to work in at a fast pace are requirements.
- Must be a team player.
The Dräger Workplace
Draeger has several sites located across North America as well as field-based sales and service positions. Our North America headquarters is located in Telford, PA just north of Philadelphia. We also have US sites in Andover, MA, and Houston, TX. Our Canada site is located in Mississauga, Ontario.
The design, development and manufacturing of Draeger’s Patient Monitoring product line takes place in our Andover, Massachusetts location.
