About the role
- Ensure all relevant technical standards and specifications are adhered to for full technical compliance without supervision outside of departmental guidelines.
- Responsible for ensuring high levels of engineering quality throughout the project/manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrate technical competence and expertise for Dräger and any associated 3rd party equipment working with control systems and sampling systems.
- Produce technical design sketches and drawings for manufacturing of bespoke system
- Provide technical support as required to sales and service teams.
- Attend internal & external project meetings ensuring full technical compliance for engineering and export compliance.
- Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (with clients if required).
- Create accurate bills of materials and costing sheets ensuring budget is managed for sales and projects.
- Fault finding and testing of products and manufactured systems to component level.
- Conducting customer site surveys both onshore and offshore.
- Ensure locally targeted strategic market / product launches for UK & MEAI comply with relative local industry standards.
- Effective use of CRM through the use of opportunities, tasks and other entities to understand the project status and ensure full transparency

- Manager Engineering Team Lead
- Size of team/environment Teams of 20 compromising of Project Engineers, Engineering Draughtspersons, and workshop technicians.
Your Qualifications
Role Requirements
Education/Qualifications
- Completion of an Instrumentation, Electrical or similar modern apprenticeship or bachelor’s degree or HNC/HND in Instrumentation, Electrical or similar.
Related Experience
- Relative experience in gas detection systems is desirable
- Extensive experience in related industries
