Under the direction & supervision of the Director Total Rewards the Benefits Analyst administers and analyzes US Employee Benefits programs, recommends plan changes and acts as a resource to e mployees regarding benefit related items.  Serves as primary liaison between employees, third-party administrators, and vendors to resolve escalated processing and coverage issues.  Working with the Director, evaluates current & potential programs through research, surveys, and analysis of trends and/or vendor products and services to ensure plans remain competitive, cost effective, and compliant.

  • Handles the day-to-day operation of the US benefits programs, escalating issues as needed
  • Collaborates with Director of Total Rewards in running the annual Open Enrollment process and developing employee communications.
  • First point of contact regarding Employee Benefits Onboarding/Offboarding.
  • Prepares and reconciles billing statements and funding requests insuring accurate and timely processing. 
  • Recommends process enhancements with vendors to improve service quality. Coordinates escalated benefit issues and appeal process for benefits issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure fairness and compliance. 
  • Works in collaboration with external consultants to ensure company benefits programs are in compliance with all federal and state laws reporting requirements surrounding FMLA, HIPPA, ACA, ERISA, & IRS regulations.
  • Coordinates all compliance activities including but not limited to ACA reporting, Form 5500 & PCORI completion and filing, discrimination testing, all mailings, notifications, communication, and local region/city ordination compliance.
  • Primary Absence Management Liaison regarding all leave types.  
  • Responsible for 401(k) Plan Administration. 
  • Coordinates US-wide programs, events, and activities that align with the total rewards strategy and engages all employees, impacts employee health and wellness and are cost effective for Draeger.
  • Performs other duties as needed and assigned.

Your Qualifications

Education:

BS/BA/AS degree or related experience required.

Related Experience:

  • 2+ years of related experience in Total Rewards with knowledge of plan design, automation, administration and compliance for retirement and health and welfare programs.
  • Experience with SAP/ADP preferred.
  • High-level of proficiency in using desktop applications (e.g. MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, Visio and MS Project).

  • Must have a customer service focused attitude and experience interaction with a variety of individuals from vendors, leadership, finance and employees.
  • Must have strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Complex problem solving and analysis /critical thinking / judgment / creativity.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and oversee multiple projects.
  • Ability to work effectively with all members across the organization

The Dräger Workplace

Draeger has several sites located across North America as well as field-based sales and service positions. Our North America headquarters is located in Telford, PA just north of Philadelphia. We also have US sites in Andover, MA, and Houston, TX. Our Canada site is located in Mississauga, Ontario.

The design, development and manufacturing of Draeger’s Patient Monitoring product line takes place in our Andover, Massachusetts location.
