The Job Responsibilities

Key Function

Lead sales generation in designated territory (Ulsan and Kyungsang-do) across the Draeger portfolio in line with focus areas outlined.

Increasing Draeger’s brand awareness, confirming Draeger’s capabilities and solutions, across Detection(Fixed Gas Detector & Mobile Gas Detector), Protection, Engineering Solution. (A generalist Sales/Business Development role)

Typical Activities/Responsibilities

  • Key task is to target end users highlighting Draeger’s solutions and products. In some cases, this will result in direct sales (defined as part of the path to market strategy) and also create a market pull to drive dealer sales and engagement.Develop broader indirect channels and cooperate with existing channel partners to accelerate sales and ultimately increase Draegers share of wallet. We will not rely on channels partners to bring us the business but development of a strong dealer network in the segments we choose is vital.Ultimately this role is ‘heavy’ on business development. (Proactive vs reactive)
    • Identify new customers (create demand via face to face visits, forums, lunch and learns etc), especially in Ulsan and Kyungsang-do.
    • Develop sales through current channel partner base and where needed and agreed with senior managers introduce new channel partners to our products/solutions.
    • Closely manage our designated Channel partners to ensure they have clear goals, promote our products over competition, and value our services.
    • Price & Positioning
    Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data; review production and sales cost (GGP)
    • Provide product, technical and application training and required assistance to customers / channel partners
    • Enter and maintain CRM and constantly create a weighted funnel consistent with territory budget plan (optimal funnel 5 x’s budget)
    • Stock checking & control
    • Monitor customers’ orders and ensure timely delivery
    • Develops clear and effective and timely quotations for current and prospective customers
    • Develop local Sales Strategy

    Develop and implement strategy for new and existing products/markets
    • Monitor Competitors and constantly relay market intel to Marketing Department
    • Responding to customer inquiries and application support
    • Work with Regulatory on approvals and comply in accordance with KOSHA’s regulations of Occupational Safety and Health Act.
    • Lead generation for Service opportunities.

  • Sales experience for direct / indirect in related field preferable Chemical

Draeger Korea Co., Ltd. was established in 1990. As well as having management responsibilities, Draeger Korea provides direct sales and technical support for customers. The company has a staff of approximately 33 in the Korea office. Key functions of the offices include sales, project management, system engineering, after-sales service and product management.
