Within the Defence & Security segment of our global business area Emergency & Rescue Services, we offer you a challenging and impactful role. Together with a global team, you will contribute to market success, growth, and profitability in the regions assigned to you.

  • Interface between global and regional organizations: You act as the central link between the global segment organization and the respective countries/regions, ensuring professional coordination and alignment.
  • Strategy and marketing mix development: You support the creation and implementation of strategy and marketing activities, analyzing trends, market requirements, and competitive environments to derive actionable insights.
  • Market development & customer engagement: You build strong and lasting relationships with key customers and stakeholders and evaluate various market access routes to generate new business opportunities.
  • Forecasting & growth management: You prepare and manage short- and mid-term forecasts, ensuring the achievement of targeted growth objectives.
  • Knowledge transfer & training: Through active participation in and facilitation of internal trainings and workshops, you share your expertise and support capability building in this growing business segment.
  • Travel requirements: Approximately 30% (mainly within Germany).
  • Location: Ideally based in Lübeck. Alternatively, employment via a Dräger subsidiary abroad (e.g., UK) is possible.

 

Your Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree, e.g. in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of professional experience in an international environment (Marketing, Sales).
  • Mandatory: relevant professional experience within a military context, ideally with exposure to the Five Eyes community.
  • Strong conceptual, strategic, and analytical skillset combined with excellent communication skills and persuasive abilities.
  • Fluent English skills (business level), both written and spoken.
    German language skills comparable to at least B2 level.

The Dräger Workplace

Around 5,300 people work for Dräger in Lübeck. It's a great place to live. The second largest city (220,000 inhabitants) in Schleswig-Holstein offers a high quality of living, short commutes and many cultural and leisure activities. From here, you can visit the Baltic Sea in 20 minutes and Hamburg in just one hour. From our Schlutup location, in the beautiful countryside, you can reach the historic down town of Lübeck (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the main train station and the Autobahn in about 20 minutes. Around 120 colleagues work on highly specialized projects for our customers. These include, for example, fire training systems, mine rescue vehicles or firefighting and tunnel rescue trains.
