- Utilize SAP ERP system to plan, order and forecast assigned items to maximize customer order fulfillment while minimizing inventory investment. Develop item forecast based on historical consumption and market input. Create and maintain SAP planning parameters to achieve optimal performance. Manage introduction of new items via the Object Approval & Design Change Request process.
- Collaboration and cross functional alignment with internal Stakeholders such as Order Management, Customer Support, Product Management, Marketing, Production, Finance. Provide guidance and direction to the stakeholders while balancing the demand and supply of the respective portfolios.
- Responsible for operational planning and forecasting of designated portfolio of 3,000+ parts on average by reviewing the relevant sales opportunities in CRM as well as through business intelligence and thus accounting for future demand in the respective forecasting.
- Responsible for optimal inventory performance of assigned portfolio to meet customer service levels while balancing working capital targets. Monitor inventory related metrics such as inventory on hand/cycle turns, obsolescence, high runners vs. slow/non-movers reduction.
- Monitor supplier delivery performance and take corrective action to ensure delivery goals are achieved. Manage day to day relationships with suppliers and act as the first line of escalation to ensure optimum supplier performance, successful execution of inventory strategy, and achievement of established KPI’s.
- Responsible for KPI measurement, scenario planning and modeling to provide guidance and transparency for a quantitative and qualitative decision-making process.
- Prepare, support and participate in the regional Sales & Operations Planning process for the Medical & Safety business.
- Collaborate, participate and lead supply chain projects within Market Fulfillment.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
Your Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (Business or technical – engineering - degree preferred) plus 2+ years relevant work experience or Master degree plus internship experience
Related Experience:
- 1-2+ years of relevant experience
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of supply chain concepts and application
- Working knowledge of ERP system preferred
- Working proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite, including Power Point and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of statistically programs like SPSS a plus
- Simulation and modeling experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Detail oriented and analytical
