About the role
- Provides input into definition and realization of portfolio strategy
- Support identified product areas and associated accessories as required
- Provides input in order to develop product line PMB (Product Management Board) roadmap
- Responsible for making or providing material for project presentations
- Support Product Manager on identified product development projects and developing customer process management (CPM) questionnaires
- Support product launch and phase out – Full lifecycle management of identified product area
- Control of new release to market within SAP in association with PM assistant
- Work with PM to deliver product training
- Monitor product market performance
- Provide competitive intelligence for product line
- Specify product related communication / sales marketing requirements.
- Responsible for support to global markets with technical, commercial and strategic support within identified product area
- Manage product content within D-World portal alongside with PM assistant
- Create content for circular letters for distribution by PM assistant
- Attend other regular cross functional meetings

- The Product Management department is a compact team but works within a large cross functional organisation with R&D, Quality, purchasing and Operations etc.

Role Requirements
Education/Qualifications
- Degree educated in a Marketing or Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
Related Experience
- Experience within a similar role is advantageous as well as any experience with Software development or digital products although not crucial.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing industry e.g. Aerospace, automotive, medical etc. preferably within a global matrix organisation
- Experience of working with a diverse product portfolio

- Excellent communicator across all levels of the business
- Customer focused.
- Ability to adapt quickly.
