About the role

  • The Business Support Co-ordinator provides support for a range of administrative and related activities to support Draeger’s businesses in the UK. The primary support is for the Legal/Compliance/Data Protection Manager with additional activities to support other ‘Shared Service’ functions.
  • Support in identifying processing activities and requesting, tracking, and updating the data protection management tool / IT system.
  • Service management around the data protection management tool / IT system, e.g. authorization management, contract management, risk management and deadline control as well as support in the conception and further development of the tool;
  • Ensuring complete documentation and transparency regarding the processing activities of personal data in the company at all times. To this end, you will be the expert for the company’s data protection management tool / IT system.
  • Maintaining a Data Protection Breach Register.
  • Preparation of contractual agreements (to include but not limited to Non-Disclosure Agreements, Data Processing Agreements, Donation Agreements) according to provided templates.
  • Preparation and issuing of notices and documents (to include but not limited to Competency Letters, Cease and Desist letters, Vesting Certificates).
  • Review and update Modern Slavery Statement.
  • Provision of business information to customers and other third parties as required, in particular for responses to tenders.

Your Qualifications

Education/Qualifications

  • Educated to A’ Level (Degree preferred)

Related Experience 

  • Interested in data protection and information security with an affinity for solving IT problems
  • Skills, Special Competencies
  • Completed commercial vocational training
  •  Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
  •  IT affinity, good general IT user knowledge, confident handling of document management systems and ideally data protection management tools (e.g. Prime), good knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Knowledge of data protection law desirable
  • Ability to coordinate your various tasks well.
  • Can work conscientiously and approach tasks with analytical thinking. Good communication and assertiveness skills to help complete tasks.
