As part of our marketing team of eight people consisting of Business Development and Marketing Communication functions, you will make a decisive contribution to our success in the Energy, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Steel and Automotive segments of the global Business Field Processing Industries. As a Business Development Manager, you will identify market trends and customer needs, recognise changes at an early stage and derive strategic focus topics from this to further develop our safety solutions in a targeted manner and adapt them to our customers' needs.

  • You analyse customer requirements in potential and existing markets and derive market development strategies and key elements of the segment strategy from this.
  • You describe customer requirements based on application analyses and customer visits and prioritise customers’ challenges within the target markets.
  • You identify and evaluate business potential of our safety solutions in these markets.
  • You coordinate relevant information between global functions and regional teams to help to achieve medium to long-term business goals.
  • You implement measures to increase customer value and realize strategy deployment.
  • You will work in international teams and support their strategic and operational market development, e.g., during joint customer and congress visits.
  • The job can be performed either at the Lübeck location or abroad as long as a connection to a Dräger company is possible

Das bringen Sie mit

  • You have a degree (commercial/technical or scientific) and at least several years of professional experience (e.g. sales, marketing, business management, B2B) in an international company.
  • Experience in the field of respiratory protection technology and solutions for industry is advantageous for this position.
  • You are characterised by conceptual, strategic, and analytical skills.
  • Strength of implementation, taking initiative and persuasiveness are among your defining characteristics and you will bring them to live in this global role as well in a culturally appropriate manner.
  • You enjoy fulfilling an expert role in a matrix organisation, are business fluent in English and are prepared to travel (worldwide) on business trips.
