This position in based on-site in our Telford PA location. 

This role is based out of our Telford, PA facility which offers its employees beautiful walking trails, onsite fitness center with yoga and fitness training classes, self-service café with a large indoor/outdoor gathering space, and a state-of-the-art Design Center. Telford is our US manufacturing site for the Neonatal product line as well as production support for Dräger’s Safety products. This location also serves as the key site for essential US functions which includes Medical Sales and Service Management, Medical Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, Quality and Finance.

The Manager Repair Center is responsible for repair activities including receiving, return analysis, repair and retesting of product, customer interface and packaging and return shipping to customers.

  • Plan, organize, and direct workload to department employees based on Service Orders, Production/Rework Orders, and the Service Forecast requirements. Communicate department goals and objectives.
  • Drive the daily business in line with objectives: budget, cost, assets, resource plans, delivery commitment (dates), work quantity and quality, and inventory. Comply with applicable internal and external regulatory requirements.
  • Assure a high-performance Repair and Spare Parts Production process. Support harmonization of global processes.
  • Assure appropriate training of employees to perform required functions and tasks. Administer Performance Appraisal and Development System for employees. Optimize employee skill set and implement productivity improvement plans.
  • Provide budget input for the Medical Repair Center. Oversee the approved budget. Develop function/area budget ensuring consistency with policies and controls. Manage and monitor all financial aspects to proactively address problems and ensure budget goals are met and return on expenses is maximized.
  • Maintain information and provide reports for departmental key performance indicators.
  • Maintain an operational interface between the Medical Repair Center and Service Support and Service Logistics.
  • Implement productivity improvements by establishing accurate standards, time studies, etc.
  • Provide forecasts for repair center material requirements based on Service forecasts.

 

 

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial/Business Management or equivalent experience, or combination of education and work experience.
  • 5-10 years of supervisory experience. Comprehensive background in medical device manufacturing with emphasis on GMP, ISO and FDA regulations. Strong technical skills with an ability and experience to perform on both an operational and strategic level.
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Microsoft applications (Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio)
  • Working knowledge of Agile, Cad, and analytical software a plus
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
