The Job Responsibilities

Main responsabilities

 

  • Responsible for order management from customer order entry to procurement operations and delivery. All logistics operations which include warehouses, transportation and foreign trade operations are other responsibilities of the role
  • Order entry to viewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws and regulations
  • Negotiating terms and prices with freight companies, monitoring and assessing their performance and maintaining cost-effective practices
  • Implementing logistic strategies, tracking goods from the origination point to the warehouse. Plan and implement logistics locations optimization projects including warehouses, storage rooms, warehouses and Multivendor Service Areas
  • Work closely with the IT department and global supply chain organization to create effective databases to manage and organize warehouse inventory
  • Analyzing the supply chain data and solving any issues or putting alternative plans in place. Setting and reporting the KPIs most relevant to company´s business. Leading the improvement measures
  • Identifying and minimizing risk by predicting the demand for products and adopting new technology with no interruption to the process
  • Seek to improve end to end and all aspects of the supply chain department by reviewing current methodology and processes
  • Research and seek out the most cost-efficient shipment procedures and methods
  • Oversee and optimize inventory by keeping a detailed database of available inventory

 

Candidate´s profile

  • University degree, ADE and/or technical or industrial engineering. Valuable postgraduate studies
  • Previous experience of at least 10 years of which minimum 5 years in similar positions, being part of multinational environments in companies
  • High knowledge of all aspects of order management, customer service, logistics, transportation and warehouse management
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills
  • High knowledge of SAP
  • Level of English, C1
