The Job Responsibilities

  • Develops, documents and executes a Technical Implementation plan that will serve as the template for a successful project outcome and high Customer Satisfaction. Provides guidance to Customer counterparts (IT, Network, Biomed) and oversees the completion of the technical work responsibilities of Internal Team members (TSS, Tech Support team, CIS).
  • This role will be Responsible for onsite Product Support in a Technical Lead position of Innovian, Infinity Monitoring, and IT products that can include the oversight of team members and driving the System Upgrades from a Technical perspective.
  • Responsible for Level 2 Troubleshooting of complex system configuration and network issues that have been Escalated via Technical Support that require onsite evaluation and proposed remediation. Must work closely with customer counterparts and their 3rd party vendors.
  • May coordinate customer support efforts with other TSS’s nationwide.
  • Provide information & feedback to Tech Support & Factory for problem identification & resolution.
  • Responsible for all Technical documentation as it relates to Implementations and Upgrades. Responsible for documenting issue resolution via Knowledgebase.
  • Performs other duties as needed and assigned.


Your Qualifications


Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline or the equivalent in education, training and experience preferred.   Minimum of 6 years practical experience in lieu of degree; MCSE, CCNA certification preferred.

Related Experience:

  • Meets all requirements and has a minimum of 2 years experience in Patient Monitoring/IT systems support, maintenance or implementations.
  • Medical Device installation and support experience (Patient Monitoring or IT System experience preferred)
  • Experience w networking of complex systems (Client/Server)
  • Experience in a customer facing consulting role
  • Understanding of UDP, TCP, IGMP network protocols and troubleshooting concepts
  • Experience with Wireless device implementations
  • Experience with packet capture and analysis preferred (Omnipeek/Wireshark)
  • Experience w Linux OS
  • Experience with Windows Client (recent versions) and Server OS (recent versions)
  • Experience w Cyber Security concepts or the ability to achieve CompTia Security +
  • Understanding & experience w/Networking, HL7 Interfaces, & Microsoft products.
  • Able to effectively communicate & interact with various levels of medical facility personnel, including IT, Biomed & CIOs
  • Able to effectively interact with Project Management, Sales, & other Service operations to achieve common goals; regarded by managers as someone who they can delegate to with confidence
  • Demonstrates understanding of company objectives & acts in a manner consistent with those objectives.
  • Consistently demonstrates professionalism with customer and with colleagues; regarded as a role model
  • Demonstrates aptitude for staying up with current and learning new technologies
  • Excellent Client Management/resolution, problem solving, debugging/troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and work planning skills
  • Track record of timely & accurate completion of service documentation
  • Effective asset management (inventory /vehicle / tools)
  • Must have and maintain a valid drivers license & acceptable driving record
  • Able to work effectively as part of a Team in a collaborative environment
  • Must be available to travel up to 80%
