Dräger careers website

The Dräger Group is committed to protecting the privacy rights of anyone whose personal data is processed by Dräger. Please refer to our data protection statement  for general information on the processing of your personal data in connection with the use of our websites and online services. https://www.draeger.com/en_corp/Home/Data-Protection

Applicant profile and application

Dräger uses an online application portal to ensure that we receive your data quickly and securely. You must register to submit an application. To do so, we need your name, your e-mail address, and a password that you have chosen yourself. Please see the “Frequently asked questions”  section (FAQs) https://preview.draeger.net/en_corp/Career/Your-Career-In/USA#Your%20Questions to find out how you can change your password or what to do if you forget it.

We will use the data you submit to our careers website solely for the purpose of processing your application and in the event that we subsequently hire you. Dräger will take every appropriate step to ensure that your application is processed carefully and completely. To do so, the data associated with your application must be truthful, up to date, and complete. It may not contain any misleading or deceptive information. Your personal data and information will be made available only to authorized persons within the company.

You may view the data you submit to the careers website at any time. Please inform us of any changes to your application-related data without delay by updating your information on the careers website. By submitting your application, you consent to the storage and electronic processing of your data. You must electronically check the appropriate box when you register to start the online application process. We will record your consent to data processing. You may revoke your consent at any time. To stop the processing of your data, you must delete your online applicant profile yourself or request that we do so for you. Please see the “Frequently asked questions”  section (FAQs) https://preview.draeger.net/en_corp/Career/Your-Career-In/USA#Your%20Questions for more information.

We would like to remind you that we will be unable to continue processing your application if you delete your profile prematurely, even if the position has not yet been filled at the time. We regularly review the data in our online application portal to see whether it is up to date and delete unused user accounts once the period in which we are required to maintain your records (retention period) has ended. We will contact you before we delete your personal data or any other information. You can confirm your interest in keeping your account by logging into the online application portal.

You do not need to take any action if you no longer need your account. Your data will be deleted once the six-month retention period ends. After that, the results will be saved only in anonymized form for statistical evaluation. It is not possible to draw any conclusions regarding your person based on this statistical data.

Confirmation of registration and receipt

You will automatically receive an e-mail confirming your registration once you have registered on our careers website. You will also receive an automatic confirmation of receipt shortly after you submit your application. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive your confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please contact the person(s) named in the job ad.

Application process

First, we will review your application. Depending on the position for which you have applied, we will invite you to take an online aptitude test. We will conduct a brief telephone interview with you in case you have any important questions. If we like what you have to offer, we will invite you to a face-to-face meeting with your future manager and the HR manager in charge of your application. Usually, we interview applicants twice before hiring them.

Please note
